We made it Back to Utah

As I mentioned in my last blog, Alexander and I had car troubles on our way up to Rexburg to visit Britney. I was suppose to sing in Church in my home ward that Sunday but we did not make it home until late Tuesday night. I am grateful that our car is fixed now and that we were able to make it home so that Gordon and I could go on our little anniversary trip. We enjoyed our stay with Britney though. She has the sweetest roommates who treated us like gold. I appreciate their kindness and patience. Here are some pictures from our trip...

Friday night Britney met us in Idaho Falls where we stayed in a hotel. Alexander was so excited to be out of his car seat, he went crazy in the room exploring everything and then headed straight for his books!



Pizza for dinner. Yummers! I forgot to put the flash on my camera so the pictures did not turn out too well. Oops! Sorry Britney!




Britney had to work Tuesday night so she dropped us off at Broadway Ford while they finished fixing the car. We literally moved into their waiting room for 3 hours. It was quite the site to be seen!

(Just so you know, Broadway Ford is a fabulous place to take your car in for repairs. They were so friendly, honest and willing to explain in detail what they are doing to the car and why. When they finished fixing the car, about 4 employees (mechanics) helped me load my car up for the trip home! As I was in the waiting room, I read numerous letters and cards from people who have had the same kind of experience. I can honestly say, I like them. How many people can say that about their "emergency mechanic?")
