Gordon was watching Alexander Sunday while I was taking care of church responsibilities from home when I heard hair-clippers running in the bathroom. Gordon couldn't stand Alexander's out of control hair, so he decided to take care of it. Dad did a good job on the haircut and Alexander was happy sitting in the sink. I thought maybe the sound of the clippers would scare Alexander, but he just watched what has going on in the mirror and smiled. Notice in the picture how good Gordon is looking. I am so proud of him.
Alexander has learned that he can make sounds while breathing in through his mouth. So now he makes car screeching sounds and keeps us laughing.
We are trying to ween him from falling asleep with his pacifier. It has been sad to hear him cry himself to sleep the last couple of nights. It was just getting out of control...he'd fall asleep with the pacifier and in the middle of the night he'd wake up realizing the pacifier was gone and he would start crying. Hopefully he adjusts quickly...I don't know how much more my heart can take of hearing him cry so much!

Chase's Blessing
Our cousin, baby Chase was blessed today. His big sister Brooklyn was taking care of Alexander while sitting on my lap this afternoon. It was so sweet to watch her "baby" Alexander. What a darling little girl.

Day at the Spa
Wow, facials are the best! To celebrate my birthday, my mother and sisters-in-law along with a cousin went to a day spa with me. We did the body wraps and recieved peticures, manicures and facials. It was extremely relaxing. It was nice to have a day where we all could get pampered. When Emily and Maleia come for Julie's wedding this month, we'll have to take them to get treated too. :o)
I am so grateful to have such a fun, loving, and supportive family. I hope they all know how much Gordon, Alexander and I love them.

27th Birthday
My strawberry shortcake. Yummy!
Gordon woke up early and made me my favorite breakfast of biscuits and gravey before he went to work. The rest of the day we were busy with school, work, exams and running errands. It was 9:30 at night by the time we were able to eat the cake. Poor Alexander was so tired, as you can tell from the pictures.
Gordon gave me the red coat for my birthday. I am so happy! I have been looking for a red coat for the last couple years. They are usually expensive (over 150 dollars) but we were able to get this one for over 75% off!
