Day 8: Bike riding and Lawn Mowing

Uncle Ben left for EFY this morning via airplane. What a neat experience he will have. Alexander keeps asking "Where is Uncle Ben?" He already misses him.

Not a lot happened today. We met Grandpa for lunch at a restaurant and went to a store together. The rest of the day was spent cleaning house and playing with kids until it cooled off enough for me to mow the lawn outside. The kids rode the bikes and played with the garden hose.

The humidity here is amazing. After mowing the lawn for an hour and half with a motorized lawn mower...the kind that I just have to walk behind, no pushing, and I was drenched in sweat by the end. No wonder I never wore much makeup growing up - in this weather it melts right off!

Grandma and Grandpa bought the boys new shoes today. The kind that we wouldn't have normally purchased, but also the kind that grandparents can spoil their grandkids with. The boys are so excited about their new shoes...especially because they light up when they walk. Thank you so much Grandma and Grandpa. We love you all so much!
