Bumps

So Alexander took a good hit to the head yesterday night at a family gathering. He fell backwards off a blow up fun slide and landed on the asphalt. I saw it all happen in slow motion.

Alexander has a pretty good concussion. He received a blessing and then headed home when he was not recovering from the fall. We purchased Tylenol and he started to act more himself by the time we were all laying in bed for night time stories. Still we woke him up every 3 hours to make sure he was doing ok.

Well he is NOT doing well. He woke up this morning throwing up and has hasn't stopped since. He can not keep anything down and even if there is nothing in his stomach he is puking every 30 minutes or so. All he has done or wants to do is sleep. (If you know my kid you know that this behavior is NOT normal for him. We are talking about a 3 year old who just last week ran a mile of his own will.) We took him to the ER where the CAT scan came out clean. If he doesn't stop throwing up or keep water down by tomorrow morning I think we'll take him back in to have an IV placed. He is SO thirsty. Poor kid.

Please keep him in your prayers. I will keep the blog updated.
