The Japanese don't stay up until midnight to celebrate the coming of the new year, instead they greet the rising of the new year's sun. I love that tradition so we greeted the new year by cheering the sunrise before church. It was so beautiful. I had to take a couple pictures. The boys had fun with the sparklers even though it was super cold. Here is to a new year. It is going to be a successful year. I can feel it!
